ROLE OF DIASPORA IN HIGHER EDUCATION EVENT CONCLUDED SUCCESSFULLY

ANA along with distinguished partners along with Embassy of Nepal in Canada successfully conducted first ever global conference on “Role of Diaspora in Higher Education”. It was a master piece-event of academicians and think tanks. We have so much talents that can help directly to nation building. The Ambassador of Nepal to Canada, His excellency Kali Pd Pockhrel vowed to implement working with government of Nepal. Our sincere Kudos to ANA chairman of board of Trustee Dr. Ambika Adhikari for chairing and pioneering the idea and ANA VP Dr. Tulsi Dharel -delivering the conference as convenor. You two made us really proud!
Likewise, our mentors and leaders Dr. Shyam Thanpa, Dr. Puru Shrestha, Dr. Drona Rasaili, Dr. Promod Dhakal, Dr. Jeet Joshi, Mr. Gopi Krishna Kafle (co-host and president of NRN CANADA), Nava Raj Gurung, His excellency Kali Pd Pockrel, Mr. Narayan Gurung, and many think thanks played vital role and the Diaspora was on one stage there. Details will be announced soon through Toronto Declaration. We are already thinking and discussing similar conference in DC area towards end of the year.
We announced a paradigm shift from leading the diaspora to serving the Diaspora in DC ANA program last week. We will create an environment to directly help community members. We are back in service systematically and working with local organizations.

Similarly, we would like to call on to all to join our National convention on Chicago during Aug 31st to Sept 2 this year.
The focus of the convention is self empowerment of communities, pure entertainment and making a difference collectively.
